Calling all students in Grades 7-12!

This summer there will be three one-week camps where you can have fun learning to build and program Tetrix and Mindstorm robots.

You’ll also apply real-world math, science and engineering concepts while working in teams to learn about problem-solving, organization, and collaboration.

Celebrate National Robotics Week 2015

Join us and others around the US by celebrating National Robotics Week- April 4-12, 2015. According to the National Robotics Week website:

The Purpose of National Robotics Week is to
  • Celebrate the US as a leader in robotics technology development
  • Educate the public about how robotics technology impacts society, both now and in the future
  • Advocate for increased funding for robotics technology research and development
  • Inspire students of all ages to pursue careers in robotics and other Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math-related fields

2015 STEM Expo: Recap

The inaugural DE STEM Expo was a big success! Saturday March 7, there were over 25 exhibitors from education, industry, youth organizations and healthcare offering information and demonstrations to hundreds of visitors from across the region. In addition, two hundred viewers attended the local screening of the award-winning documentary SlingShot about the life and work of inventor and FIRST founder, Dean Kamen.
