This message to old and new FIRST Tech Challenge teams comes directly from Ken Johnson, FTC program director:

Through generous donations, need-based grants are available for both rookie and veteran FIRST® Tech Challenge teams – making now the perfect time to join our community of passionate learners.

Rookie (new) teams can apply for a $275 registration grant, and another $275 to help pay for materials. Existing teams can apply to receive a $275 registration grant to cover the full cost of the season registration. Simply click here, or on the button below, and follow the instructions to apply:

Team outreach to DE STEM educators

img_2642Team Rhyme Know Reason participated by providing demonstration and outreach to Delaware educators and business professionals at 2016 DE STEM Council Symposium held at University of Delaware’s Clayton Hall, talking with visitors about their program and their robot design process. FTC students are preparing for their first competition event next weekend in Ambler, PA.
