Two robotic events, fifty+ teams, one day

Mark your calendar! FSR sponsors two action-packed robotic events at the same place and time-October 18, 2014, at the DuPont Fieldhouse at Salem Community College in Carneys Point Township, New Jersey.

  • At the Duel on the Delaware FTC Scrimmage, more than 20 FTC teams from around the region will mark the opening of 2014 season and participate in robotics workshops and an informal scrimmage jointly sponsored by Diamond State FTC, New Jersey FTC and Pennsylvania FTC. The middle school and high school- aged students were challenged this September to design and build robots for a new game- Cascade Effect.

Start up grants for new FTC teams

For the upcoming 2014- 2015 season, new FTC teams may be eligible for grants from FIRST. Grants are for $275 and cover first year registration fees. Teams are responsible for raising additional funds for robot kits, event registration, and any team expenses.

FSR announces team registration has begun for the FLL and FTC 2014 season.

Upcoming announcements

In early fall, FLL will release the 2014 Challenge, based on a real-world scientific topic.

In September, FTC will hold a kick-off to announce the 2014 season’s game design.
