Three programs affiliated with FSR– MOE, Delaware FTC, and FSFLL– were awarded $1000 grants through the DuPont Volunteer Recognition Program. This program recognizes the volunteer work that DuPont employees provide to their communities in education, human services, arts, and the environment.

“The work done by our employee volunteers is critically important to the vitality of the communities where we operate,” said Sylvia S. Banks, Manager, DuPont Corporate Contributions. “These community ambassadors create an environment of trust that is an integral part of our core values.”

FSR relies on volunteers to mentor teams, organize and staff events, as well as to develop and administer the funds that make the programs possible. DuPont is one of several corporate sponsors who support First State Robotics.
