DE teams earn top honors at PA FTC event

Delaware robotics teams perform well at PA State Championship
Two First State Robotics teams, Rhyme Know Reason and MOE,  as well as another Delaware-based team,  Archmere High School’s Robauktics,  all accomplished great things at the Pennsylvania FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Championship tournament held in York, PA, on February 28. The Robauktics had a great robot and driving team, earning a place in the Championship finals, while MOE not only competed in the event semi-finals but also won the Control award for outstanding programming and use of sensors. Rhyme Know Reason earned top honor at the 36-team FTC event receiving the Inspire Award for great overall success.

Coach Dawn Dockter of Rhyme Know Reason was also honored at the PA Championship when she won the Compass Award for her guidance and mentorship.

Rhyme Know Reason will next compete at the East SuperRegional tournament March 18-20, 2016, at Scranton, PA. There, 72 teams from Maine to Virginia will compete in the East Super-Regional vying for an opportunity to advance to the FIRST Tech Challenge World Championship in St. Louis, Missouri.
